Installed and regsitered without problems on a WIn 8.1.3 Pro 64 bit system. A clean install.

A (Chinese) company without name and address:
"Adoreshare is a professional and advanced software publisher of all kinds of video converters for both Windows and Mac."

After start a blueish resizable window opens. No options or settings. A sufficient help file. This is a version 1.0 from August 2014, at least this is is the "about" info.
The codecs are from mid 2014.

The name says it: of course it could convert all movie formats, the input is limited to .mp4, .mov and .dv file types.
The output (or conversion) is possible to nearly every format from IMovie, over AVI to DivX. This can be selected by video type or by dive (Samsung e.g.)

The video can be trimmed, cropped, watermarked or subtitled, with an SRT file for example.

In a short test, this worked without problems. A limited converter, nothing new, nothing special.
Does, what it claims. No problems with version 1.0. This is a feature reduced brother/sister from the former GOTD Adoreshare Video Converter Genius 1.0.

Uninstalled via reboot. I don't collect converters.

Installation and registration couldn't have been simpler, opens up to a fashionably unreadable interface for old eyes.
My attempts to convert to M4V all failed so I had a go at DIVX which produced an AVI file.
Could not convert my MP4 at 240 FPS to a different frame rate, same as all the other modern converters I tried.
On opening a second time it had not remembered my input nor output directories, so easily rectified with a little INI file guys!
Another run-of-the-mill video converter that doesn't do anything special enough to make it standout, its inability to remember my last used directories make it really irritating to use.
Hopefully the developers will learn from the comments and make improvements to later versions.

Though I already have quite a few video converters, so called just one-click program in my software arsenal, I still gave this program a shot on my new laptop (Windows 8.1). I'm a bit none tech-savvy, so an initiative user interface with A-B-C wizard will be much easier to get along with. The UI of the converter here is a five-star from me. I tested with *mkv file to *mov, one of the mainstream format supported by iMovie. The output quality is pretty good, with minimum quality loss due to the conversion of HD to SD. I'll keep this tool and thx to GAOTD & Adorshare!

Yes.

Installed and working, but the only issue is, it doesn't seem to work with .m4a files. Otherwise it works fine with the 2 .mp4 videos I tested. I await Karl's comment. :)
