Downloaded, installed, and registered with no issues. Big nag screen when opening the program, but no nags after that. There is help and tutorial information, but I just clicked around. I started with The Dead South and Audials came up with a long list of albums and songs. Most, not all, downloadable. I downloaded a copy of a song I already had to compare technical stuff. The download was quick. Audio bit rate was only 128 which might have been fine last century. (The highest audio bit rate I got during my testing was 160 - the lowest was 95)
I was encouraged so I tried The Troggs. Not so much. Fairly extensive listing, but few available downloads. I did one and the result ended up being only the left speaker.
My main music interest is 20th century classical so I turned to Vaughn Williams. Not much. I did one download and it sounded like a high school band recording in a gymnasium. No information as to who, when, and where. I tried another and it was very good and a version I hadn't heard. BUT only one movement and, again, no who, when, and where.
OK, maybe Vaughn Williams might be a bit off track (not really) so I tried Tchaikovsky. Again, very little and less was downloadable. I tried one and, again, no who, when, and where. It wasn't very good.
I tried Charles Ives. Almost nothing, but one was an Ives Society Critical Edition of Country March. Very good interpretation and playing, but - another school performance. At least the one microphone set up was in an auditorium, not a gym!
One last try. East Village Opera Company. Yes, obscure. But the album listing was, maybe, complete. Few songs were downloadable. Quality was so so.
The id tags on everything were good. There is lots of potential there. It may work very well for many folks. A google search probably works better for me.

Installed and logged in without issue but, as with some others, there's no option to actually download anything, only listen within the software. Watching the videos on their site has left me non-plussed, it's as if the version given away here is lacking the most important feature!
A response from the company would help several folk here having the same problem.

I downloaded and installed this app today (10-06-20). No errors while installing.
I then created and registered a new Audials account.
However when I click on the "Activate" button, it pops up another window telling me I have to BUY the software for $19.90!
The program runs regardless but I cant record music apart from music from radio streams. It also constantly shows a BUY NOW icon on the app all the time.
Any idea why this is happening? Is this a limitation of the free version?

Mine does not show a "Music Streaming" option even after activating. Giveawayoftheday says that it is supposed to stream from various services.

Installed and activated on Windows 10, but like others have no idea how to record anything. There is a Youtube video from Audials 4 months ago, but the program version in the video is not the same as the one in the giveaway.
