Installed OK, program opened OK, but I wasn't able to try it out because I couldn't understand how to use it. I couldn't find an online support manual mentioned in any of the options or on the Capture Boss homepage. I checked for a YouTube video of instructions but there isn't one. It looks like a comprehensive capture program if anyone can figure out how to use it. I am not a newbie, I started using computers in the 1980s. Uninstalled.

In itself interesting app. However, the Readme file states it is pre-activated, but the bottom line of the recorded video says:1AV Trial. That's annoying.
Also, the frame rate is too low to record a screen movie, while there is no way to change the frame rate.
The good thing is, it records also as mp4

Stewart, most comments on this giveaway were never even allowed to go on public view. We are not allowed to post unvarnished truth even though it does not contravene the FAQ moderation policy or acceptable use pages. The comment useful votes are just that, if a comments overall usefulness rating is negative maybe more found it not useful than those found it useful. e.g. the chm help file included in the program is dated from 2009 when the program was called 1AVCapture. Relying on such an old legacy helpfile is bad in many ways e.g. if the program was really actively under development and not just version incremented just to apear it's being actively developed then it's 12 year old CHM file would need to be updated to cater for new developments and features so one way or another it's a bad thing.
Program would not open under Vista here.... hasn't worked here since they rebranded 1AVCapture to Capture Boss and broke the installers installed Uninstall Shortcut. My post which mentions the bug and how to properly uninstall it if you want was censored by the moderator too.
