I'm sorry, but having to complete tasks to be entered into a drawing isn't giving away "free, licensed software," it's complete BS.
I'll visit the GOM site and download the free version to evaluate whether or not I'll spring for a license, so I guess I'll be getting ten entries anyway. But completing tasks to have your name be one of many competing for a very small number of time limited licenses is crap.
For that matter, time licenses are also crap; it's just a way to sell the same software to the same buyer over and over again. If you buy software you should then own it, period. At least with a car you can get a lease-to-purchase deal. With software it's just greed.
