I have never hear of this product which seems to be an entire security solution including a firewall... Questions are what AV is it running & what firewall? Where does it stand in AV tests? Does anyone know if its any good at all in detection or will it slow your system? Can it be used with another trusted AV.. or is it a stand alone security that should not be used with any other? Some can be.
Well what a totally useless offering it is today. Google blocks the website and won't allow the download. Tried to IE (yes, yes I know it's crap but any port in a storm) and this time Norton blocked access to the site and deleted the download as being potentially harmful ... I find it rather ironic that software that is supposed to protect your PC from the nasties is being detected as being one itself. Had to check date thought I might have overslept and it was 1st April. Now to go and waste my time doing something useful.
Complaining about a free piece of software just because it has a 1 year license? Seriously? The software acquired from this site is for the purpose of testing, getting ideas to improve, get the name out for new companies, etc... Let us not mention at all that even though this is good for "only" one year, but you also get tech support AND upgrades for that year (something that happens very seldom here). Some people want everything for nothing, or they have to throw a childish fit i guess. As for this particular program, I can't leave a review, good, nor bad. Have a popup saying:

No big loss, I've already gotten several running. I'd recomend the developer gets this fixed right away or there will be very little in the way of testing and actual feedback, with the exception of the people whining about it only being for a year. Have a wonderful day everyone :)
Aside from some evident confusion over just what this software protects against -- Trojan virus? Oh really? -- there's the rather more important fact that it seems never to have been crash-tested anywhere. That's a serious obstacle to idoo AntiSpyware Pro bedding in on anyone's computer, and one which the developer would be well advised to address as a priority because as this list demonstrates:

As that list shows, AVComparatives -- far and away the best research resource of its type -- hasn't even heard of idoo, still less examined idoo AntiSpyware Pro to see if the developer's claims are credible.
Thanks, then, GOTD, but no thanks. Today's developer does itself no favours by being so cavalier in describing what it thinks it is doing with this product; absent external AV analysis and verification, idoo AntiSpyware Pro is going to appeal only to those who trust where they cannot see. . .
Installed perfectly on my Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. I did temporarily disable my anti-virus protection because programs don't install correctly due to GOTD's software wrapper (setup.exe)
I tried a Quick Scan (98,812 files) and found 0 threats. This concerns me as I have the full package of Nirsoft Utilities. About 6 of these programs are password retrievers and I have to exclude this directory for other spyware, malware and/or anti-virprograms. Even though they are false positives, idoo AntiSpyware Pro did not detect any problems. My AVG Anti-virus identified bulletspassview.exe as HackTool.ancc. It identified chromepass.exe as HackTool.ASTW, dialupass as HackTool.AKLV and so on. My anti-virus detects 13 threats from the Nirsoft folder. idoo AntiSpyware Pro detects 0.
idooAS.exe and update.dat are added to the firewall rules.
My AVG just popped up identifying update.dat as potentially dangerous.
I'll post back after further testing.

Ik heb het programma ook in Win10-64 laten werken.
Er zijn een paar zaken, waaraan je moet wennen.
Als er een dreiging gevonden wordt, wordt het verwijderd, Punt uit:

Gelukkig is deze wel weer terug te vinden in de quarantaine.
Ik heb meerdere bestanden op de PC staan, die gezien worden als een virus, maar het niet zijn. En de huidige AVG maakt een melding en vraagt wat er gedaan moet worden.
Elders verwijdert AVG ook wel eens een bestand(van de oude meester Ojoj), maar dat is nu ondervangen door een batchbestand. Het is namelijk onduidelijk, welke melding er is verschenen. Dit kan niet worden beschreven door de gebruikers van die Windows.

Verdict
I installed Antispyware Pro on a virtual machine to verify the claims. Most of them checked out. I was getting random update messages that I doubt could be genuine. Even if they are genuine, the pop up in the most annoying manner possible. I believe that a good antivirus should be as subtle as it is powerful. Antispyware Pro is none of this. I wouldn’t advise you to install it. Look somewhere else.

Over het algemeen is niet verstandig om meerdere anti? bij elkaar op 1 systeem operationeel te hebben. Die kunnen elkaar flink in de weg zitten. Intro van de de CEO (Directeur zeg maar) en de reden waarom deze software is gaan schrijven op hun site is hartverwarmend, zie de info op hun "company" pagina.

Ik heb deze melding eerst niet gehad met het downloaden.
Intussen is Firefox geupdated en nu komt de melding ook.
Er is nog nooit een bestand geweest, aangeboden door GOTD, dat een virus bevatte.
Wel een enkele keer software, die niet goed werkte op verschillende systemen, maar nooit een virus.

Six Bernard, Op de USkant zegt GOTD dat men in discussie met Google is over dit probleem. Ik vind de melding "die schadelijk zijn voor je surfervaring (door bijvoorbeeld je startpagina te wijzigen of extra advertenties weer te geven op sites die je bezoekt)." wel grappig; geen bedrijf geeft meer advertenties weer op sites dan google.
Ik heb nooit gemerkt dat mijn startpagina gewijzigd werd door GOTD software, soms krijg je wel wat reclame die tot nu toe altijd onschuldig was (zoals om bijv. een pro versie te kopen). Vrijwel altijd is het Themida die de boel zo versleuteld en uitpakt dat er code gegenereerd wordt waarop enkele virusscanners kunnen aanslaan.
Ik vind het wel typerend voor Google; zonder notificatie, waarschuwing of verantwoording aan de siteeigenaar de boel op slot gooien.
