$99.95? For what? There are tons of free alternatives that do the same thing. I've been using PDF995 for years, pdf995.com, and find it all of their software so helpful that I've donated to help support them.
I can see nothing in this software that could possibly justify that kind of pricing.
I have to agree with all of the commenters thus far (only 4 at the time of this writing) - While I'm sure a great deal of effort and resources were applied to the process of creating this software, the price is way out of line when compared to that of other manufacturers providing the same or similar capabilities. (And I should point out that Giovanni hasn't added his insight yet either!)
I realize it can be difficult to assign a price to an intangible item such as a software program, especially if you've put a lot of effort into it. There are no hard and fast rules concerning how to go about that task. Such factors as the number of potential users of the software, coupled with the investment made - in terms of material costs as well as time resources dedicated to its creation - must be taken into account. Indeed, in some cases, such items may even be given away as a "loss-leader" that will incite people to buy other associated products from you.
It is interesting to note some of the "suggestions" provided so far in the "suggestion box" area above these comments. While there are some truly good ideas, there are also quite a few other suggestions that are almost laughable because they ask for "features" that are either completely unrelated to the function of the original software, or would require more effort and coding than the original software did!
Of course, when you place an open invitation for people to write their opinions in a place where something is being given away for free, you're going to receive a lot of input from what I call "freeloaders" who think that the world owes them everything their hearts desire completely free of charge, and no strings attached whatsoever. They complain about having to provide their email address, yet many of them have no problem with forwarding a bunch of idiotic Facebook game requests to everyone on their friend list (which I'm sure shrinks considerably every time they do it). Still, it's fun and helps a semi-retired disabled tech like me to pass the time...
Oh - that brings up one final thought...
Within the circles I tend to travel online, most people would like to have a software such as this to write and distribute their own e-books (for sale, and therefore their use would be considered "commercial" in nature - which is BANNED under the terms of this and most other giveaways on this site). I might suggest that the powers-that-be consider REMOVING that restriction, since the software would then get into the hands of a greater number of people who not only have a tighter set of standards, but also a better understanding of what business is about in the first place.
Thanks for your generosity, and for tolerating the ramblings of an "old-timer" such as myself, who has far too much time on his hands!

100 bucks for a buggy virtual printer?!?! Get real!
It does not properly create PDFs out of PowerPoint (slides/pages are horizontally truncated), sometimes it fails to create the printed PDF file altogether and more than once it forces the name of a previously printed file over to the next one even if the names are totally different from each other!

Ik heb de MSI voor x86 even op een Win7-64 willen installeren: foutmelding.
De 64-MSI werkte prima, met sleutel en al.
Daar waren de teksten wel te lezen.
De uitvoer, PDF's, verliep weer niet goed.

Waarschijnlijk is het GOTD-setup-bestand geblokkeerd door een Firewall regel.
Welke Firewall gebruik je?
Die zou je misschien moeten doorlopen of er regels fout staan.
Bij mijn Windows moet ik de regels eigenlijk vaak na te kijken, omdat er regelmatig overbodige regels instaan, van programma's die reeds verwijderd zijn.
Voor GOTD-programma's heb ik de regel op "Altijd vragen" staan. Soms blijkt een programma meerdere contacten te willen hebben met het Internet. Een enkel ander programma wil nog wel eens, ondanks het uitvinken, toch een toolbar te willen installeren.

"PDF Impress 2013"
Ik weet niet precies, wat ik met dit programma aanmoet.
Bij installatie moet Windows opnieuw gestart worden, er komt een autorun van het programma bij Windows; dit neemt ~30Mb werkgeheugen in beslag.
Hierna komt er een venster in beeld, dat niet geheel duidelijk is.
Als er de muis op een knop staat komt er een zwart venster zonder tekst, die te lezen is.

Ergens bij instellingen kan men de taal kiezen: Engels of Engels.
Men kan ook PDF maken: bij het toevoegen van documenten wordt er elke keer uit in de map van de gebruiker, niet eens "mijn documenten". Op zich niet storend, maar als men meerdere documenten wilt op een andere schijf, dient men elke keer het hele pad te kiezen. Dat wordt vervelend.
Na het kiezen van 3 teksten, heb ik het laten omzetten naar een PDF; elke keer weer van de root van C: naar de goede map navigeren. Dat wordt vervelend.
Zeker als nadien blijkt, dat er geen PDF's zijn te bekennen in die doelmap.
De optie om een MSI-bestand te maken, ontgaat me ook een beetje. Zeker als de MSI de letters x64 bevat "pdfimpress2013_x64.msi" op een WinXP-32bits en ook nog eens 80Mb is. Daarnaast komt ook "pdfimpress2013_x86.msi" van 60Mb. Dit terwijl het installatiebestand maar 40Mb is.
Een leuke puzzel voor een winterdag.

PS: leuk, dat velen niet door hadden dat Willem b een grap instuurde: de pagina was van de universiteit van Amsterdam, die geheel met de tijd mee gaat. Ze zijn reeds in 2006 beland.
PS Lidl1: de alleskunners kunnen niet gefrituurd worden, gezien bij Keuringsdienst van Waarde.

@ Luc, helemaal hoe een koe een haas vangt. Het tevergeefs zoeken naar de Teletekst van andere zenders kwam ik met iets dat niet het goeie resultaat gaf. en kijk, zelfs en mislukte linkk leidt tot iets. Slordigheid van mijn kant had een positief gevolg. En ach, als Fleming niet zo dom was geweest om zijn bacterie cultuur achteloos achter te laten was de penniciline nooit ontdekt.
@ Lidl1. Eega was verrukt over de aardappel info. Jawel, ze kan best goed koken maar dit smaakte naar meer.

@1 Als argeloze GOT gebruiker werd ik getroffen door je uitlating onder 1 Matroos Vosch. Ik heb de event van gisteren waaraan je tipt gemist maar met name in je derde alinea trakteer je ons op een heuse, literaire, ja bijna filosofische aftrap van het weekeinde. Ik quote "dat heeft in al zijn ondoorgrondelijkheid ook iets treurigs'', omdat die passage mijns inziens bij al het andere uitblinkt en misschien zelfs het adagio van ons toch wel erg deprimerende tijdsgewricht vormt. Te zien hoe een podium voor te vaak halfbakken software toch ook aanleiding voor menselijke verdieping kan geven is tegen dat decor dan ook bemoedigend.

@ Matroos Vosch, klopt heb er zelf niet naar gekeken. Was op zoek naar Teletekst pagina en kwam werkelijk daarop uit. Zag dat ook RTL enz. erin zaten en "kwakte" hem ongezien neer. Een beetje overbodig dus, net zoals jouw reactie 2 maal te plaatsen. Staat namelijk ook al op gisteren.
Voor de rest: ik struin niet heel Google af. Er moet wel een aanleiding zijn. Twee dagen terug had dat het overlijden van de laatste Andrews Sisters kunnen zijn en het feit dat haar naam overal verkeerd werd gespeld met Patty terwijl het moet zijn Patti. Heb ik niet gedaan.
Maar een bericht dat de planeet Aarde zich nog maar net op de leefbare rand van ons zonnestelsel bevindt, daar speel ik wel op in op dagen die zoals @^@ het beschreef, het hier doodstil is en het steeds stiller wordt. Groet
