Installed and registered without problems on a Win 8.1 Pro 64 bit system.

Simple Studio, specialized in the field of digital video and audio software, dedicating to the user-friendly DVD Converter tools, Video Converter tools and all-in-one converter suite. We develop multiple market channels based on the Internet to the people all over the world.

And now they want develop system tool. Uninstallers??? and another text from their homepage :

Simple Uninstaller has been tested many times on Win 8 (both 32 bits and 64 bits). It is quite compatible with Win 8.

Let's test the quite compatible software...

After installation a small window opens, which cannot be resized.

The first button on the left claims to give computer info. It gives, the absolute basics, including system time. Even the few information are simply wrong. My memory is not 4 GB, but 16 GB, the bused memory is false. The "disk info" shows some 24%, without explaining which disk, and what 24%. This gives no trust to the further test. Bad!

The second button, the "uninstaller" shows a list of installed tasks, tiny letter, in a faded blue, difficult to read on a big screen.

I uninstalled two programs (no risk with a virtualized system,like yesterday's GOTD).

It simply invokes the uninstaller routine of the selected task and the... NOTHING MORE, no check of remaining files, folders, registry entries. But they are right : they claim to have a simple uninstaller. This is really simple, too simple!

The third button "system tools" invokes some window routines.

Sorry, this is one of the simpliest programs, I have met. Do not download, you'll waste your time, even if you spend 60 seconds.

Uninstalled. And now comes the joke:

Uninstalled with their own software "simple uninstaller", comes back with message some modules could not be uninstalled, you can uninstall them yourself by hand...

Even their own uninstall routine cannot uninstall their own program.

Safely uninstalled via reboot...
A shame, a joke, simple useless!

Thanks GOTD and the Developer. Uninstaller is very necessary for us. This GOTD program is good. And below are some alternatives which might be also useful.

Windows 7 - 64 Download and Install was quick and easy.

I installed a couple of junk programs - both windows utility programs
and then used Simple Uninstaller to remove them.

Will ask you 'twice' if you really want to uninstall a program.
Appears to remove software quickly but a check with Revo Uninstaller shows that Simple Uninstaller does NOT remove registry entries or files such as 'temp' or 'app data' entries so you are left with a bunch of junk files on your disk.

The whole idea behind an 'UNINSTALLER' is to completely remove a piece of software, it's registry entries and temp files etc.
'Simple Uninstaller' just uses the software's uninstall file and does not search for leftovers. Needs a lot more development to be useful.

I'll stick with Revo Uninstaller Pro which is the best uninstaller I have ever found.
