The program insists on doing an online registration check every single time you run it.

Note that this means:

1) The program is unusable if you don't have an Internet connection.

2) The publisher can disable your copy at will.

3) If the publisher goes out of business, the program will become permanently unusable.

I was going to install and try this GOTD until I read this on the author's webpage:

"The two biggest differences between Trainer and these other two models is that Trainer doesn't have the ability to save changes to a file and, it uses an older time stretching algorithm, so audio quality after key and tempo change may not be as good, especially when substantial changes in key or tempo are made. "

Since this GOTD says "Trainer", I can assume we can't save the changes to a file= not worth even testing it...

As a semi professional musician I'm always on the lookout for software that can help with various tasks and seeing today's offering I thought it might be worth seeing what all the fuss is about. After downloading and installing I tried it on several different tracks, I used my own stuff so I had a very clear idea of how good bad, bad or indifferent this software actually was and after quite a few hours decided it wasn't of any use to any professional musician, the results were very poor. However, it is a fun program, good to mess around with but that's as far as it goes. I can see what the developer was trying to achieve but they never quite got there. You can't beat learning a song using the lyric sheets and sheet music with a bit of improvisation thrown for good measure. Fun, but not quite there.

First, no real musician will use this amateurish software,
Second, the 614% is a made up number,
Third, how many real musicians ever heard of this software.
Fourth, someone who like to be or has the ability to be musician will install studio quality synthesizers.
Fifth, a real musician will not rely on 20 years old algorithm to loop at different speeds and tempos just to hear his/her voice with scratchy sounds or sounds like the chimp monks.

If the developer said: this is a software for fun and to waste some time or give it to your kids to pretend they are musicians, I will agree with it. No real musician will ever install this software.
