1. een herstelpunt maken.
2. chkdsk/f uitvoeren
en kijken wat dit voor resultaat opleverd.

Hello lieve luitjes,
'k heb daarstraks besloten om toch maar alles te verwijderen en ben op zoek gegaan naar een vervanger...tijdelijk mediamonkey maar die is niet half zo goed als die jaangle (tenzij ik update naar gold misschien ,maar daar wacht ik nog even mee! )
Vermoedelijk is Jaangle de oorzaak geweest , ondertussen heeft de pc een paar uur staan muziek spelen met VLC player en er is niks gebeurd...
Al dat werk...nouja, het is meer ontspanning natuurlijk ,maar er zat toch al veel tijd in...maar da's nu juist iets waar ik redelijk veel van heb , dus geen probleem om later , na verwerking van bovenstaande tips , nog eens opnieuw te beginnen.
Trouwens een extraatje voor mezelf : heb voor vrijdag m'n pc "super live helper" uitgenodigd om eerst mosseltjes te eten en daarna nog eens naar de pc te kijken, en hij vond het een leuke deal. Dank je Jan als je meeleest !Bedankt aan alle posters en antwoorders...'t is nog vroeg maar 'k ga toch nu slapen .

@marc.1954: Probeer eens met de BSOD analyser. Als je een blue screen krijgt maakt Windoze een geheugendump.
Laat die dump door de analyser ophalen en je kan vinden aan welk programma of component (ocx, dll) het ligt.
Zo kom je sneller aan een oplossing dan met gokken.

Oh ja, Marc had je wel een retorepoint gemaakt voor installatie?
Testen met TimeFreeze of Returnil is ook altijd aan te bevelen.

Ik heb Jaangle zelf niet geinstalleerd staan, maar bij mijn weten is er maar 1 (install)directory met submapjes. Hierin komt volgens mij ook de database te staan (met al het werk dat je erin gestopt hebt).

Wat ik zou doen (doe dit op eigen risico omdat ik dit uit mijn hoofd doe en me makkelijk zou kunnen vergissen en dan ben je je werk kwijt) is de gehele installdir inclusief wat er onderhangt, even zippen en de zip bewaren. Als het goed is zit je database met je werk er ook in.
Als je wel weet wat je database is kun je die ook direct copieren en veilig stellen.

Uninstall daarna Jaangle volledig bijv met Revo. (sja er dus toch afgooien, maar maar tijdelijk hoop ik). Kijk of je problemen opgelost zijn.
Als dit niet zo is is er iets anders aan de hand dan Jaangle want die is er immers af. Geen idee wat er dan aan de hand is.
Als dat wel zo is dan was er dus iets met Jaangle, hopelijk alleen iets met de installatie en geen incompatibiliteitskwestie.

Installeer Jaangle opnieuw en kijk of alles naar behoren werkt. Zo ja verwissel dan de database uit de zip met het lege exemplaar dat je nu geinstalleerd hebt. Zelf even kijken wat je database is. BIj 'extract from zip' gewoon overal 'nee' op zeggen dat bij vervangen niet heel duidelijk groter wordt (je werk immers). Hopelijk is de installatie nu goed gegaan.

Nog steeds problemen? Dan wordt het serieuzer, waarschijnlijk is er iets niet compatibel, maar wat? dll's geven meesatl meldingen en niet meteen een BSOD. Lastig.

Hopelijk lukt het, niet gechoten is altijd mis.

Stop 0x000000D1 or DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

The Stop 0xD1 messages indicates that the system attempted to access pageable memory using a kernel process IRQL that was too high. Drivers that have used improper addresses typically cause this error.

Possible Resolutions:

# Stop 0xD1 messages can occur after installing faulty drivers or system services. If a driver is listed by name, disable, remove, or roll back that driver to confirm that this resolves the error. If so, contact the manufacturer about a possible update. Using updated software is especially important for backup programs, multimedia applications, antivirus scanners, DVD playback, and CD mastering tools.

@4 marc.1954: Vermoedelijk een driver die dwars zit.

Alleen een "Stopcode" geven is niet genoeg om de fout te achterhalen. Een BSOD heeft naast de Stopcode ook vier parameters:

Oei! Sorry hoor plankje, ik dacht dat je elders druk bezig was en ons vergeten was....
Nu ik hier dan toch merk dat er voor dit progje niet veel belangstelling is ,nog maar eens OffTopic.
Onlangs heb ik hier een klaagzang geplaatst omdat ik zo dom was geweest om een progje binnen te halen en te betalen zonder dat eerst te testen...Gelukkig kwam @^@ met een leuk alternatief , twee eigenlijk, ik heb Jaangle in huis gehaald en ben daar zeer tevreden over...MAAR...tot voor kort wist ik niet wat een blauw scherm was , helaas nu wel. Regelmatig word XP gestopt en krijg ik de fout 0x000000D1 . Na wat googlen lijkt me dit een fout waar ze zelf niet van kunnen zeggen hoe je ze moet oplossen....de eliminatie van software en hardware tot de fout niet meer verschijnt...Zo herstelde ik vroeger kopie machines, print erin, print eruit...niet echt gericht bezig eerder goed giswerk. Het raakte wel opgelost zo , maar hier zie ik dat niet zo zitten. 'k Vermoed dat Jaangle de oorzaak is maar als ik dat eraf doe ben ik ook al het werk kwijt dat er al inzit...Heeft iemand een suggestie ivm deze fout? Ik heb alle logboeken leeggemaakt nu zo dat als ze nog eens voorkomt ik kan kijken of daar iets te leren valt...maar waarschijnljk zal dat voor mij te ingewikkeld zijn. Dus, als iemand een eenvoudig voorstel heeft : graag.

Meningen zijn een beetje verdeeld in eu. Progje zou $ 69.95 moeten opbrengen, mag je daar dan wat voor verwachten? Denk het wel, vanuit commentaar en suggesties (een gegeven paard kijk je niet in de bek?) blijkt er nogal wat verbetering aan te brengen. Er was zelfs 1 suggestie om deze als portable aan te bieden, doe ik deze keer niet aan mee. Works well for swf to wmv - in fact it's the first one I've found that does work well for my particular swf files (rather ancient "swish" ones). It does require closing and restarting between each conversion, otherwise various dll errors show up, but that's no hassle since I only have a few to convert. Thanks GOTD

Thundersoft Flash to Video Converter is a small app for screen capturing .swf [Flash Shockwave] files that you've saved, rather than just capturing the window [with the same file playing] in your web browser. It uses both .NET & the Microsoft C++ runtime libraries. The advantage is that at the same time you can crop &/or add a watermark image to the video frames -- the disadvantage is that it's simpler, easier to just capture the the same thing playing in your browser. Note that Flash Shockwave & Flash video are 2 different things -- Flash video [as on YouTube] is just another kind of video, while shockwave is a script based authoring environment used to create for example games, or the player on the web page used to play Flash video. Shockwave files [.swf] can contain Flash video, &/or one or more stills &/or sprites [think of the individual drawings used to create traditional animation], often including a path that elements of a drawing follow, e.g. a character's arms & legs. Often about the only way to turn those animations into a video is to use screen capture as it's playing, whereas any actual video can more easily be extracted from the .swf & treated just like any other video file, giving you the advantge of normally higher quality. One use for an app like today's GOTD is for creating simple animated wallpaper for a cell -- IMHO Flash animations tend to be simpler in the 1st place, so they might work better for that purpose than regular video.

Using Thundersoft Flash to Video Converter is a 4 step process... 1) import a .swf file, 2) optionally crop the frame &/or add a logo on the Edit tab, 3) select your output format & destination, 4) play the file, capturing & saving it. In tests I ran it did not stop capture automatically when it should, so I had to do that manually. Output formats are also a bit limited. It seems to be far from a resource hog, but, it also dropped/skipped frames, recording a variable frame rate video that was close to, but not the same as the original. As you are performing screen capture all the normal caveats apply, e.g. you need to be able to record the playing audio -- if you can't record the audio portion of a playing video, you won't be able to record audio here either.

Installation itself is good, adding just the program's folder [51 files, 5 folders, ~23 MB], & a recorded <50 new registry entries -- basically registration data & an uninstall key are all that's added to the registry. Thundersoft Flash to Video Converter itself appears to be written [at least partly] in Delphi, & includes 3 .exe [Executable] files -- Googling "MeSetupInfo.exe" I just got a couple of references to a slideshow app at ipixsoft.com, while "PTSMerge.exe" was only mentioned re: today's app... did not see any references to spy or ad or other kinds of mal-ware.

There are some amusing Flash animations on-line that, recorded to video *might* be easier to show friends/family that don't go on-line -- I've done it when I wanted to show one of the grandmas something from JibJab, sticking the video on a small hand-held player, But, that was before all the kids had smart phones. And many non-smart phones can handle simple animated wallpaper [think animated GIF rather than full-motion video]. Most on-line Flash video OTOH is hosted/delivered as a file separate from any .swf-based player, so other than those 2 uses I can't really think of a need for Thundersoft Flash to Video Converter -- I hope someone comes up with some more, hopefully better examples of what you can do with it. If no one does, personally it's the sort of app I'll convert to portable [portableapps.com format], sticking it out of the way on an external drive or device.

Works also well for swf to avi, mp4. If no sound, don`t forget to change the settings, otherwise the conversion fails. It is also recommended to tick the box automatic stop, otherwise it will become endless.
