Installed and registered without problems on a Win 8.1.3 Pro 64 bit system.

Remember this is a one years license. You enter the licence under “Sercices” on the left side -> license.

This is not a virus or malware software. It has the name from the key logger and expanded in the further development to a full scale logging and HIPS (Intrusion Prevention System) software.

Zemana IntelliGuard also collects anonymous standard computer information, which includes information regarding your computer software and hardware, such as your IP address, operating system and version.
10.4 Upon receipt, the IntelliGuard Cloud Data is aggregated into our Zemana Threat Database and used to create rules which will make determinations on “safe” or “malicious” files and programs. In addition, the IntelliGuard Cloud Data is used to produce general statistics on attacks and threats; these statistics may be used by Zemana Ltd. in its malware research, publicity, marketing and promotional materials.
10.5 You can enable and disable IntelliGuard Cloud Data at any time by visiting the General Settings under your Zemana Ltd. software’s Options page."

Think abot that you send a lot of informations about you, your computer and programs to a server somewhere in Turkey. You cannot control it. It is a simple matter of trust. I do not like to send information to unknown companies, there are enogh working local solutions.

"Upon start a small not resizable window opens, I disabled the IntelliGuard features, started the the “protect all” and tried to make a short test. Because I have no keyloggers ready to install, I started some processes from the NirSoft utilities. In no cases the software detected something – at least it did not report any threat."

I tested again some of the Nirsoft utilities. Without any reaction from the "anti keyloggr". And this time I installed a real keylogger as test. I installed the free Refog Free Keylogger 8.1.6.


"This does not mean anything – but it acts different as my installed HIPS, which is asking me to allow the start of the NirSoft utilities and it shows me the dependency to other processes."

Uninstalled via reboot.

KARL, Zemana has a huge database to check out whether an app you are about to install in your PC is really dangerous or not....that's why it didn't show up any warning message concerning "Refog Free Keylogger". So my suggestion is to keep it running in your system (HIPS software like WINPATROL are another kind of "beasts"...LOL!!).

To test ZEMANA or any other anti keylogger utility out there, you'd better use this keylogging simulator:

It is already installed on my system and more than 400 days left. It seems it really works time to time .
It has detected the suspicious attempt of capturing the clipboard or access to webcam /mic many a times. It also poped up when a program tried to inject malicious code during uninstallation process. It warns whenever any program tries to takeover the full control of the system.

I have seen the Online Banking and Endpoint Security Report issued by MRG Effitas in which Quarri Protect , Softsphere Defensewall , Trustee Rapport and Zemana Antilogger was successful to protect a system fully among 18 Anti- Keyloggers.

But yes, if you already use a full HIPS product like Comodo Internet Security then you don't need this product.
On the same test "Comodo Internet Security" was successful alongwith Avast IS, KIS and Emsisoft Antimalware.

Among Freeware there is SpyShelter well known but I couldn't test this as it's free version doesn't support 64bit system.

For Keystroke Protection Oxynger KeyShield is also a good options.

Thanks to Zemana for providing a good security layer as It makes the online transaction more safe.

Kept this program the last time it was offered, like the way it reassuringly pops up now and again when it thinks something could be amiss.

Rather than do a full reinstall I just pasted the new serial number under Services, License and it extended it from August to January.

Being an XP user means that I must be more vigilant against malware, and so this is my third line of defence and I'm a trusting soul so keeping it.
