@ keepit comment: You'd probably do well not to raise the spectre of international taxation because (a) it's complicated and (b)no-one has a duty to pay a tax unless obliged to do so. This is a Chinese developer with no retail presence in Europe; what is it, then, that you're hankering after: a demand to pay monies to the Chinese government in Beijing??
Wonderfox is to be commended for playing straight with European (and other countries) consumers because I for one am fed up with scam developers who add 20% Value Added Tax to the software price they calculate in £GBP when the charge is entirely illegal because the developer is not registered for VAT and can not display a VAT number or UK registered office on its website. The product + tax trick is worked assiduously by a number of scumbag East European software publishers but, thankfully, isn't an issue I've noticed where Chinese software publishers are concerned.
Kudos, then, to Wonderfox, both for being open and honest, and thanks to it and GOTD for a nice giveaway today. As to your desire to pay more than you need to because of your concern about taxation . . . Sheesh.

No ads and hidden fee. Much better than those "troublemakers" who make various pop-ups or bundle installation while launching.

2. NEW FEATURE: WonderFox Ringtone Studio has been embedded. (Design for iOS& Android)
Well I always waited for a Ringtone Studio in a Video converter...
Upon start a modern looking, non resizable small interface opens. In the options you can define the behavior number of used cores, priority, GPU acceleration.

I looked into the Ringtone Studio, well it is not really "Studio", it is a small cleaned space on mothers kitchen table. You add an audio file, you can define with a slider start end, define the output as phone or SMS and that's it. No options for anything concerning the audio input/output. Well this is version 1.0, but why the big claim:

I will rename my copy command to "File Multipler Studio Professional Platinum Edition"
Since the changelog shows some bug fixes and the only NEW option is the ringtone studio, you may read my former comments to the video conversion.
Uninstalled via reboot - the Ringtone Studio is no big improvement.

@Adriaan Ik ken de vele outputformaten, het gaat erom dat je "in batch" (zie 7) niet de verschillende video's apart kan aanklikken en in een ander format dan de rest kan omzetten: Je moet er 1 kiezen die voor allen geldt.... Je kunt dus niet een lading video's laden in het programma en bij de eerst voor .wmv kiezen, een ander voor .mkv etc. Kan bij sommige andere converters wel en dat kan handig zijn.

Vervolg: De interface blijft onhandig: Je kunt slechts 1 outputformaat kiezen voor alle in batch te converteren bestanden. Je kunt ook niet in het programma afspelen, en het ziet er als een veel te druk geheel uit.
Ik snap net als Ootje ook niet waarom er maar 10 bestanden in batch kunnen worden uitgevoerd. De fouten van de vorige versies komen weer terug in deze versie met meer bellen en toeters: (lijkt windows wel).
Gedeinstalleerd: ik ga niet lang wachten op een onvoorspelbaar resultaat na conversie.

WOnderfox was nooit de beste converter, ik heb eerder een viertal versies getest maar er waren steeds problemen. Cropping, geluid beeld synchronisatie, onvoorspelbaar eindresultaat.
Cropping geeft nu een " can not be converted" foutmelding. Zetten van de aspect ratio gebeurd niet, conversie is traag.

Als ik op de downloadlist klik krijg ik een leeg venster.
En open Filelocation verliep ook niet goed; waarschijnlijk was ik te snel.

Later eens kijken hoe dat in elkaar steekt. Bij een reële Windows ipv een virtuele Windows.
In een virtuele Windows wordt alles geëmuleerd en dat betekent gewoon, dat er een namaakvideokaart inzit, een namaakprocessor.
Later op de dag eens testen in een echte Windows met de echte videokaart en alle kracht.

Een bestand van 9Mb zou iets van 50Mb worden.

De bestandsgroottes zijn gelijk.
De kwaliteit is niet goed te beoordelen, omdat het een bestand is opgehaald vanaf het Internet, Youtube.
Wie weet later eens met een echt HQ bestand; in het verleden wel eens opgehaald.

En zoals te verwachten was, kan dat programma geen ondertitels bijvoegen. Om ondertitels bij te voegen zijn er twee mogelijkheden; Disabled en Ad subtitle.
Als Video Converter is dat programma goed genoeg, maar zonder ondertitels ben ik er niets mee.
